Lopez Museum: July Lectures

An announcement from the Lopez Museum Foundation.

This is to inform you that the Lopez Memorial Museum will have the following lectures for the month of July 2006. All lectures are held on a Saturday, 2-4 pm.

1. Stories on Preserving Cultural Heritage (series in cooperation with Museum Foundation of the Philippines) which will focus on Kapampangan culture and efforts to preserve it on July 8. Fray Musni of the Center for Kapampangan Studies is resource speaker. Fee of Php50.00 for Museum Foundation members and Php100.00 for non-members.

2. Into the Groove: Introduction to Prints
To complement the exhibition Impress, a talk on the types of prints, how to distinguish these and to care for prints in one’s collection will be given by some members of the Philippine Association of Printmakers (PAP) on July 15.

3. WomanTalk: Eugenia Apostol
Feisty and widely-respected journalist Eguenia “Eggie” Apostol will talk about her experience as editor of women’s sections of various publications and groundbreaking efforts in the publication of Mr and Mrs SpecialEdition, PhilippineDaily Inquirer and Pinoy Times on July 29.
