Food and travel

Spices at the night market in Burma

I may not look it but I love food. :) So now I have a food (and travel) category on my blogsite. It may not be so obvious either but I’m horrified by travel and meeting people. :)

The best place (in terms of food and people) I say I’ve been to is Burma. Next is Taiwan, and I especially loved the food of the indigenous people there. I had a difficult time with food in Europe, but really liked the lamb in Sierre and the smoked salmon and reindeer in Finland. And actually, the best Indian food I’ve tried is not in India but rather in Burma and Amsterdam. Weird taste, maybe! ;) And in Wales - they don’t know how to cook their sunny-side-up eggs and their sausages are no match for our own local longganisa! ;) But their pork cracklings are really nice…

Anyway, I thought that these posting on Korakora blog won’t be just about food that I like in various places, but also about how to prepare these foods yourself. I do have a few of my own recipes, too. :) I don’t know why I hadn’t put this on my blog earlier!
