Fats, Vitamins and Minerals

Friday, I went out to pay some bills and buy some groceries, and, as I promised Alwin, to get some double-cheesey fries and fried chicken with rice. It took such a long time in the bank and I hadn’t had lunch, and I walked quite a distance back home under the heat of the noontime sun. Maybe that’s why that evening, I had this sudden headache and body pains all night. For a while, I started to think that I might already have dengue since headache and body/joint pains were symptoms (adult symtoms I guess, without the high fever?).

I had what was called H-Fever (or hemorragic fever) when I was 13 years old, a long time ago, when such outbreaks were still unheard of. I supposedly got it in school because there was a fish pond there. I was confined to hospital for a few days and didn’t really understand what all the fuss was about… Anyway, now, I’m keeping close watch on myself, and especially Alwin.

Sunday, we’re supposed to go to my auntie’s place to celebrate my cousin’s birthday - who isn’t there because she’s working in Canada, but she rang home to tell people to celebrate anyway! Will see if I wake up early enough to join the family.
