- I’ve decided to “reconstitute” the Korakora listserv and see how it can stand as platform for a more internally-focused discussion and planning for the KURO Satellites.
- I’m thinking of going to General Santos City and work with the artists’ community there for a KURO Satellite. It is only a possibility and I wish that it can happen.
- Instead of multivitamins and food supplements, I told my mom that I prefer to try harder to eat well. I really enjoy eating, especially the food served at home, very simple but leaves a fresh feeling unlike processed or restaurant food. It really is better to enjoy good simple food rather than swallowing expensive tablets. I just love the squash and long beans, and the bitter gourd and chicken with chayote in soup, and the Ilokano specialty of eggplant with beaten egg, garlic and fermented fish paste is just irresistible. The fish cooked in vinegar, garlic and ginger was also very good, especially when stored after a day and the flavors have seeped into the fish. Everything goes with rice, of course. We don’t eat much meat at home anymore which is very good. Eating less meat also feels more refreshing. I’ll try to post my mom’s recipes here soon.
- Alwin has been using up all my paper.
I will need some supplies soon and get organized so we can spend more time drawing, and so I can learn some drawing lessons from him!
- Finally got the CD dispatched for Eric!
