Where did the day go again?
Posted by: Fats in: What and Why > Alwin's Blog > Edward fans clubI must have been really exhausted by the meeting - I’ve slept nearly 14 hours today, a sleep full of so many dreams. It was nearly 6PM when I woke up, and I was so hungry because I haven’t had breakfast and lunch. So I ate some rice and pakbet which was really good.
Alwin went into my room, he was feeling better but still had a bit of fever. He wanted to get Edward again but I told him he shouldn’t because he was warned that maybe Edward was making him sick (my mom thought he could be allergic to Edward’s fur). He took Edward anyway and put his nose on Edward’s nose and blew, and out splat on Edward’s nose was a huge mass of uhug! Yak! ;P I told Alwin that uhug was what was making him sick - it was already so thick and yellow - yak!
The problem with Alwin was that he didn’t know how to properly cough out phlegm or blow his nose so the stuff just builds up until he gets an infection and gets sick. But somehow playing with Edward he accidentally blew his nose and found it really funny. It was really disgusting but indeed funny. I told Alwin to use his small towel instead, so Edward got a towel for Alwin. And Alwin did it again, blew his nose, and more came out, thank goodness! Alwin felt very relieved.
Anyway, the other reason why Alwin went to my room was that he wanted to send one of his drawings to the newspaper - through email. He showed me the newspaper where they published other kids’ drawings, and Alwin showed me the email address where to send it.
Okay, I told Alwin, next time we’ll send one through email. But here’s one that Alwin made a few days ago using some color pencils. Alwin doesn’t work much with color - he prefers to draw with just a pen or pencil.
I also include below a poster color painting of Edward which I did. Alwin helped me color it, he really wanted to use the gold paint so I let him use it for the background.
