Pineapples and earthquakes
Posted by: Fats in: What and WhyShould be off to bed early tonight, with the hope that I will make it to the “Fuzzy Logic” exhibition - in the morning rather than the evening opening cocktails. I need to sign some paper at the museum anyway, and of course, I am very interested in how everything looks together. I suppose I can take Edward along.
Actually, I’ve been sleeping long hours lately, which seem to be part of the normal cycle.
In the meantime, here’s a photo of a weird-looking pineapple that somebody brought to our house sometime maybe 2004. Rummaging through old photos and files, I found it and thought I’d post here. It’s a funny looking pineapple. ![]()

And news today, intensity 3 earthquake in General Santos City and intensity 2 in Davao City in Mindanao, and last Friday was a strong 5.2 in Marinduque with over 900 aftershocks felt in other parts of Luzon including Manila. A great deal of earth activity in the Pacific recently, and if the valley fault system in Manila moves, we could be faced with a 9 magnitude earthquake.
