A busy day yesterday …

It was nearly an hour waiting in the bank, good thing I had Edward with me. It was just amusing seeing him peering out of my bag. Anyway, before heading home, I got some Chicken Katsu and Shrimp Tempura with rice and vegetables for take-out. I was really hungry because I wasn’t able to have any breakfast, so we had ane arly lunch when I got home.
Later that afternoon, Alwin and I were playing with Edward, watching TV, etc. Alwin is so mischievous, it’s getting harder and harder and keep up with him!
Anyway, it was fun, we made a hammock out of my malong and put Edward in it. Here’s a photo of Edward in his hammock with Alwin under it.

Then all of a sudden, my friend Ferdi texted and invited to have some coffee. Great!
So I told Alwin I was going out and he better look after Edward.
I asked what Alwin wanted me to buy for him and said he wanted some Honey Star breakfast cereals (but not the strawberry flavor). Okay, and I told him I was also getting some cream of asparagus soup (he really likes that on his rice). I was on my way out of the house when Alwin suddenly rushed and shouted, get me some choco pretzels too!!
It was so nice to see Ferdi again and talk about his plans. We share much in common especially on our frustration with the Philippine problem. We’re both not completely hopeless, though, which is why we still haven’t left the country for the greener pastures of US, Canada or whatever’s the flavor of the month.
Quite a busy day, although the bank, the cafe and the grocery are all just at the mall nearby, I felt rather tired - very happy, but a bit tired. Ah well, at the moment, what’s important is I had a really nice time and I got all the stuff Alwin ordered!
