A reading for my ex-ex

And of course, I made a reading for my ex-partner too. Interestingly, we had basically the same suits (hearts, batons, hearts). So the emotional domains seem to be dominant for the year of renewal, with the domain of the self, the ego and the mind posing a weak though necessary point.

My ex-partner’s ally and strength is the concreteness of emotional relationships being taken into the dynamic stage (represented by the number 3, the first real number after 1 and 2, since 3 signals concrete choice, real action and the realization of (an emotional) undertaking, rather than a beginning or a desire or a potentiality. This stage is also depicted in my reading as to be devoid of emotional conflict or tension.

The adversary and weakness is the domain of the ego and mind, the tensions of individualism. This tension however is internal and could provoke a change in ways of thinking that can be positive especially since it is associated with the strength of the the number 3, that of emotional vitality.

The outcome, the Queen of hearts, represents great difficulty ine expressing what my ex-partner actually possesses: a deeply emotional nature. The Queen is associated with spirituality, introspection and the internal sensitivity, which somehow, will continue to be supressed. Perhaps this result conveys the nearly insurmountable inability for him to show his feeling much more.

This is interesting because my ex-partner was born under the sign of earth, the suit of coins, representing practical, finacial, material concerns. However, he is supposed to have a deeply emotional nature, the sign of water (I remember also his luck element in the Chinese calendar), which could contradict the pragmatism of the suit of coins. And yet he ssems to suppress both the pragmatic and the emotional natures, and traverses the domains of the ego and mental states (the sign of fire), as route to self-preservation and perhaps, self-knowledge. Therefore, indeed, the internal tensions.

I have an interesting tension as well, being born under the sign of fire, supposedly of egocentric concerns, and yet often underrating myself (even as a child, I remember) although always governed by action (the sign of air) by nature and the predominance of feeling and emotion in most undertakings. Perhaps a better state and a balance is possible by moving closer to the domain of the self - of ego and self-assertion, decisions and self-assurance - rather than moving away from it.

Would the favorable equilibrium take place as I move towards the fire and my ex-partner more towards the water?
