Three Bead Necklaces

Posted by: Fats in: Needleworks

Here are three bead necklaces I made. The necklace below was made from old and found beads just last month. It was quite easy to make and simply meant bringing together the kinds of beads that developed into this simple pattern.

The three bead necklaces below are made from tiny glass beads and are much more complicated. I made them two years ago. Two use a metal clasp and one uses leather strings. The first one with the pearls is an original design and the next two are from a patterns book which I bought in order to learn about beadworks. I tried making more of these recently but my eyes have gone quite bad and I find it very difficult to focus when stringing the tiny beads together.

I love that red and clear one! Nice job! BTW, I know many bead weavers who use magnifiers to see while they work. Some use magnifiers that are attached to ott lights or stand on their own. Others use those magnifying glasses you can get at the drug store. It may be worth a try, you do beautiful work.
