Crocheted Vegetable Bag
Posted by: Edward in: Edward's CnC > Projects (Improvs)
Here’s a crocheted bag that looks like a vegetable. My caregiver started working on this about two weeks ago, and finished a few days ago but couldn’t post on my blog because her camera has been acting up again. Now she finally got it working so here are the photos and of course the pattern.
And of course, I get to model the bag.
Really lucky that my caregiver and her boyfriend have finished their embassy business yesterday, since today it has been raining all morning and afternoon! It’s getting quite cool now as well, so this nice warm crocheted bag could be good for little Maria too.

Sc across for two rnds. Break off.
Sew strap on rim of bag.
Sew leaf over buttonhole of strap. Sew other leaf to bottom of bag. (See photo below)

Sew button on rim of bag. In this piece, I use a large wooden bead and a golden glass bead. (See photo below)

Weave in or sew and trim all ends.
Bishop Edward can now wear bag to keep warm this cool season (see photo below).

Because a needle often won’t fit through the beads, I use clear nail polish to stiffen the end of the yarn to thread through the glass beads.
