A great contrast with Holland where people often seemed more intersted in themselves than anything else...... I trully hope I am loosing the awful old habits quickly...... I grew up in a spirit of sharing -which seems to have got lost in the west..... So, in that sense, it's a bit like coming home after all those years in the wilderness.... Yes -people are wonderfully generous here.
