Post-holiday Pre-holiday preparations
Posted by: Fats in: Fats, Vitamins & Minerals > Wala langAfter getting our registry number from City Hall, and a nice lunch, we visited my mom who was quite happy to see Trevor. We had a bit of chance to play with Alwin too, who was then trying to build a house, then later an airplane, with cardboard pieces. I thought it would be good to give him such ideas about constructing interlocking pieces instead of using glue which took an awfully long time to dry and often easily comes off.
I took Edward, Maria and Mandy with me (quite a crowd in my bag), and since it was Mandy’s first time to be at my mom’s house, I took a photo of her playing with a coconut, below. ![]()

The other day, my mom came over to see us - it was so nice to see her being happy to see us. She gave us some of the spaghetti she just made, and I was so surprised that it was exactly like the spaghetti I made for Trevor on New Year’s Eve: the Filipino-style spaghetti that will make any Italian go crazy, it’s sweet, has hotdogs and is loaded with “processed cheese.”
However, my spaghetti did have a bit of special twist because I added Pampanga longganisa in it.
And, over the New Year holidays I managed to knock together the PROCES/SYON website so that at least some info about the project is out before we leave for Thailand. Hopefully, there will be positive responses when we return. We did quite a great deal of work on the concept of the project, I hope it all will be worth it …
In the meantime, priority now is a real holiday!
