A bit of work (again?)
Posted by: Fats in: Fats, Vitamins & Minerals > Wala langJust yesterday I managed to pull through a half-day lecture-discussion for Isis. My friend Len requested me to do this just a week ago and I found myself getting more and more pressured as the day drew near. It seems that I am still having difficulty trying to do some work that involve deadlines (plus the power outages during the past few days added to the pressure!).
However, the opportunity meant teaching myself to streamline the work (since I do have a tendency to overwork) in such a way that it becomes more relaxing and enjoyable, not only for myself, but for everyone. Any ex-workaholic knows how difficult it is to work again (for better!) after a burn-out!
And of course, with a little bit of my own income, I can buy more crocheting yarn!
And thank goodness everything went very well!

Haha. Fats I’m glad to be able to contribute to your yarn-budget
Seriously, we benefited a lot from the discussions, and opened up areas for the organisation to work in. I have some nice tea from Sri Lanka (just got back from a meeting). Dalhan kita.

Wow, tea! Trevor and I love all sorts of tea! Will text you later.
But really, I’ve been using up a lot of yarn/crocheting thread lately, kaya magastos na rin.
I bought a whole kilo of baby pink crocheting thread (Monaco brand) in Quiapo, mas mura kasi doon (that street where you find Excelente Hams). We’ll go back there another day to get a different color - I am really taking on the challenge of crocheting a whole dress kasi!
In the malls naman, mura ang yarns (Familia, Mega and Red heart by Coats Manila Bay) and crocheting threads (Canon, Anchor and Monaco brands) sa National Bookstore compared doon sa mga crafts shop or sa SM department store.
Bisita ka dapat sa apartment namin soon!
