About Dialogues
“Dialogues” is maintained by Fatima Lasay and Trevor Batten, artists currently based in the Philippines. Both Fatima and Trevor have experience in teaching and the international art and conference circuit. However, neither can easily envisage a role for themselves within these contemporary commercial or academic systems. Rather, they both wish to be able to indulge their own personal interests through cooperative but independent creative investigation and hope that a position of “semi-retirement” will offer them the freedom to do so.
