Survival of the big, bad and ugly

Friday, July 27th, 2007

When my humans came back, some of the plants had died but a few had survived. Somebody did come and give the plants (and me) water but it seems that we all missed the humans too. Some time ago, I heard some people saying that they believed in the survival of the fittest…. It seems […]

Inside Outside

Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

Very many suns ago -shortly after the humans returned (late April) they moved two of the pots outside into the communal garden. One of the cacti was rotting away, perhaps because it wasn’t getting enough light -and some tree cuttings (see earlier interior photo) had been sitting indoors doing nothing (neither growing or dying) for […]

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

Apparently, it didn’t work, because it wasn’t even a real citronella but only a “citronella geranium” (which ia a geranium that looks like a citronella)…. and even if it had been a real citronella -it still wouldn’t […]

Different times

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

My humans were going to photograph the onion before planting it yesterday -however the battery in the camera expired and it took hours to recharge. By the time the camera was working again, it was the next day already and the onion was starting to look rather expired itself. Several bits that seemed to be […]

Having your cake and eating it

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

My mother often used to say “There’s no need to have kittens every time you get poked in the eye”. I never really understood what she meant exactly.
However, I do remember she was always having kittens -the house was full of them. They told me that was why I got taken to the vet at […]
