I love: The sound of rain in the evening; my cat George, my “dog” Edward; writing and re-writing and writing; planting more chilli peppers; cooking and eating, crocheting and beading; taking photographs, traveling, reading old books, listening to old music.
Food: Bicolano laing; Kapampangan burong dalag, Vigan ipon; Burmese lethok (salad mixed by hand); grilled dried shitake mushrooms, bagoong rice with raw onions and green mango slices, crab fat, smoked salmon, salted fish and dried shrimp, unleavened breads.
It would be nice if: I actually earned a living from my art works; I gained 20 pounds; I could travel again without crying; I could live quietly in a clean place and have a vegetable garden; I wasn’t allergic to George.
